South Korea vows to bomb North if attacked again.

Last Friday, South Korea had vowed to bomb North Korea should it try to repeat the bombings on Yeonpyeong Island.

The shelling began at 2:34 pm on 23 November after North Korea sent several messages protesting about South Korean naval, air force and army training exercises being staged close to the border.

As a result of the bombings, at least 4 are dead, 2 being civilians and other 2 are soldiers. More than a dozen marines were wounded.

Personally, I don't get why North Korea wants to act like this. From what I know, citizens from both countries get along well and they hope for peace. The governments are the ones who have problems with each other but it's affecting the citizens.

If this continues on, it might eventually escalate into World War 3. Many innocent lives will be lost, the economy will spiral down and regional ties and trade will get affected. Singapore will be indirectly affected and we will all suffer. There's no "winning" party in this war.
