Missing Hiker Aubrey Sacco.

After reading the article, I have come to my own conclusion that the Nepalese locals do know where Aubrey is but they are being very tight-lipped about her whereabouts.

'We know where she is and you'll never find her.'
This is what some of the locals have said, and it really angers me. Although they are worried that history will repeat again, they shouldn't threaten other's safety for their own interests. The locals are also growing weary of answering questions about her disappearance so I think they should start telling the truth to the searchers.

Aubrey's family believes something did happen to their daughter and that she did not just disappear into thin air. It's really heart-wrenching to watch this kind of incidents happening over and over again to families, because losing a family member is always painful. Having to endure the pain of not knowing whether your loved one is dead or alive, it really kills. So I really hope the locals will step out to give information about Aubrey's whereabouts to ease her family's pain.

And also, my advice to trekkers is to travel in large groups. It's safer and if something horrible happens, at least there are people around to look out for you and save you.
